Craig Ivey is President and General Manager of the Performance Films Division for Solutia Inc.
Solutia's Performance Films division is the world’s leading manufacturer and marketer of high-quality, aftermarket window films for the automotive and architectural markets, as well as the U.S. leader in the do-it-yourself window film segment. Performance Films is also a leading supplier of high-value, precision-coated films and film components sold to a variety of OEM markets including the electronic display and medical device industries. As President and General Manager, Craig has responsibility for all commercial, operational and strategic aspects of the business.
Craig most recently served as Vice President – Photovoltaics in Solutia’s Advanced Interlayers division. He has been with Solutia since the company’s inception in 1997 and brings more than 25 years of manufacturing, business and leadership expertise to Performance Films. He also served as Vice President of Business Operations – Asia Pacific and was instrumental in growing Solutia’s presence across Asian markets. Craig’s contributions to the success of numerous Solutia products, as well as his knowledge of emerging markets, make him uniquely qualified to drive and grow the Performance Films division.
Craig earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University.
History
Solutia's Performance Films division was founded in 1955 by Julius Hermes. Originally named Martin Processing, the company specialized in developing dyeing technology for polyester yarn and other materials. In 1987, the Hermes family sold Martin Processing to the British global firm of Courtaulds, which named the company Courtaulds Performance Films which afterward became CPFilms Inc. In 1999, the company became a subsidiary of Solutia Inc.®, a world-class chemical company headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, USA and is known as Solutia's Performance Films division.
Products and Services
Solutia offers the broadest window film product line on the market for automotive and architectural applications. There are over 100 LLumar glass treatment films designed for solar control, safety and decorative applications offering an extensive choice of visual and performance characteristics. Films can be variably and in combination colored, reflective, semi-reflective, or non-reflective; opaque, translucent, or fully transparent.
LLumar films feature superior quality construction and are designed to meet international standards. The patented, protective scratch-resistant coating on LLumar films has been independently tested and is the most durable in the industry. LLumar films are sold by a network of over 10,000 authorized distributors and dealers. Each product comes with a factory-backed warranty when professionally installed by a LLumar dealer.
